Tell us more about yourself.
I’m actually from Jakarta—I’m just here for a holiday. I’m currently working for my dad in the family business. We do export and imports, and I’m not really enjoying it. I’m actually considering finding another job. I like fashion, so I’m looking for something in that industry.
Where do you get your fashion inspiration from?
My dressing sense is quite street-style, so I get inspiration mostly from things I see on the street, and on the internet. I like to mix and match items, and like trying new things. I definitely wouldn’t try something that’s bright neon or too colourful though.
What’s your favourite item in your wardrobe?
A cropped denim jacket. I think anything cropped makes me feel a little skinnier (laughs).
Where do you see yourself in ten years’ time?
I genuinely have no clue, but I see myself hopefully being a fashion influencer.
What’s your favourite thing about Jakarta?
The traffic, of course (laughs). It’s so bad! It really stresses everyone out. But honestly, my favourite thing is the food. Whenever I travel anywhere, the first thing I miss about home is the food in Jakarta. My favourite is ayam goreng, which is quite different from the chicken rice you get here.
If you were a superhero, what would your power be?
I’d like to fly. I think that’s something that will save me a lot of time. I want to try being invisible too, just for fun.
