As the saying goes, don’t judge a book by its cover. Michelle may look all sweet and demure in her daisy-print frock, jelly flats and long chestnut tresses but she’s actually quite the avid pole dancer. “I train and teach three to four times a week — sometimes up to six times if there are performances or competitions coming up,” she said. A strong and determined character, Michelle unsurprisingly chose the elephant as her animal alter-ego. “When elephants set their minds to something, they don’t waver in their commitment until the task is complete,” she explained. Michelle’s persistent personality is reflected in her dedication to her sport – last year she started a blog, HeartnPole, where she chronicles her pole dancing adventures.
