Tell us something not a lot of people know about you.

I’m Nepalese. My dad is part of the Gurkha regiment, so I’ve been here since young. What a lot of people don’t know about Nepalese culture is that we’re actually very open-minded and accepting of everything.

You’ll be studying nursing soon—why did you decide on this?

I did my diploma in Nursing, and I wanted to continue it. I enjoy the rush and the thrill of the job; I’m hoping to specialise in Accident & Emergency. I grew up watching Grey’s Anatomy so I think that’s been a huge influence.

What’s one thing you wish you had more time to do?

Enjoy myself more, and not stress about the future.

If you could switch lives with anyone for a day, who would it be and why?

Someone who’s about my age, but who isn’t working or studying. I have friends who’re travelling the world and having a working holiday. I want to experience that, and get inspired.

One piece of advice you’d give to your younger self:

Don’t stress so much about your life, because it’ll take you where you want to go eventually.
