What do you do for work, and how did you first get into this job?
I’m a General Manager at a furniture company where I do business development.
I’ve always been design-focused and design-centric. Since I never attended design school, this is my way of getting into the field.
Do you have a particular designer that you look up to?
I don’t have a favourite designer or colour as I like to try different styles.
What about your personal style?
How I dress is a reflection of how I feel that day. It’s very much climate-influenced as well—roomy clothes work best, especially in our humid climate.
Outside of work, do you have any hobbies?
I’m a full-time father of three, so I’ve lost all my hobbies. But, being a father is great! It’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me.
Describe a perfect day out with your kids.
Just a day at the playground, or when they don’t fight. As long as I see them happy, I’m happy.
