Personal Touch

WEARING

We caught Guo Yao towards the end of the day, on his way off from work. His simple ensemble in classic monochrome was well-fitted to complement his tall and slim physique, jazzed up with pops of colours from his draped pink sweater and burgundy loafers. To Guo Yao, personalising one’s outfit must first start with an understanding of one’s body. “Find out the strengths and weaknesses of your body shape, then try different designs to develop your own style.” When possible, Guo Yao likes to enjoy some me-time, relaxed and away from the hustle and bustle of people. “I’ll read, draw, listen to music, relax my mind in a café, or simply go for a walk alone. My favourite author is Echo (三毛) from Taiwan, because she knows how to appreciate little things in our life.” If he weren’t a secretary, Guo Yao would love to either be an artist, or work in fashion.
