How’s work so far?
I’ve been working for one year, dealing with intellectual property. It’s been a challenge—I get very varied clients, interesting cases, and sometimes, funny questions.
The most challenging part:
Nailing down the fine print. I’m a ‘big picture’ kind of person, not someone who goes into the details of dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s.
In my free time:
I do a lot of random things—like read about my roots, for example. I’m Teochew, so as a tradition we drink tea after every meal. I’ve been reading up about this Gongfu tea-brewing method that’s supposed to enhance the quality of your tea.
If I could do anything I wanted:
It would have something to do with Chinese tea. I’m very interested in it and would like to start a business based on it. I feel that Chinese tea is kind of inaccessible; people tend to be put off by the language, but if you could see the health benefits of tea, it’s easy to fall in love with it.
