Taking A Leap

WEARING

Share with us something interesting about yourself:

I’ve lived abroad for three years, and I’ve travelled around most of Europe. I lived in Manchester when I was pursuing my studies.

What’s the biggest difference between life here and in Manchester?

It’s a lot more laid-back there. The pace of life is very different; people go to work at 10AM and knock off at 4PM. Of course, things were easier as well because I was studying, and I didn’t always have classes every day.

If you were a flavour of ice cream, what would it be?

Salted caramel. I like the mix of sweetness and saltiness, it’s an interesting contrast.

What’s an experience you’d like to have some day?

I’d like to skydive. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime thing for me, like something I’d definitely have to try.

What’s one piece of advice you’d give to your younger self?

Don’t be afraid to try new things. I wish I’d taken the time to pick up a skill, like learning a new language when I had more time to do so.
