Impossible to miss in her ensemble of brights, Kay Lii injects some well-needed zest in the mostly muted landscape. A refreshing concoction of styles, luxury meets street-inspired elements. Here, she pairs a three-quarter sleeved sweater top with a knee-length, quilted skirt in lime. These clean, minimal lines are complemented with the use of textures and colours – like a tiered, bejewelled necklace, weaved clutch and strappy, block sandals. A five panelled cap in bright red tops the look off with a playful, mischievous quality. Not surprisingly, Kay Lii is currently into hats and headwear of all sorts. She would not be caught dead in halter necks.
