We celebrate the nation’s birthday today with a tribute: to our fathers, grandfathers, and forefathers who built Singapore, with the design of our UNIFORM x ACRE socks bringing to mind the handkerchiefs they used to bring to work. Many of them spent decades at their jobs, uncomplainingly toiling to put food on the table and a shelter over the heads of their loved ones. At a time where job-hopping in the hopes of pursuing your dreams seems to be the norm, we wanted to remember their dedication, resilience, and sacrifice.
